It was a clouded day and TeeJott had invited his new model Dean C. for a second shooting. In the studio they had a fashion-session and then they went outside to the nearby port-area „Rheinauhafen“ where they even found an empty party-tent that was spontaneously converted into a makeshift „studio“ when it started to rain. Dean C. again shows his high quality as a photo-model.

Es war ein bewölkter Tag und TeeJott hatte seine Model-Neuentdeckung Dean C. Zu einem zweiten Shooting nach Köln eingeladen. Im Studie hatten die beiden zunächst eine Fashion-Session und im Anschluss ging es dann zum nahe gelegenen neuen „Rheinauhafen“. Dort fanden die beiden sogar zufällig ein leerstehendes Partyzelt, als es anfing zu regnen und wandelten dieses zum Behelfs-Studio um…

This shooting with Model-Newcomer Tony S. shows again that TeeJott has a preference for sunglasses… and the different variantions fit very well to his new Model Tony who has quite a face for sunglasses. Tony was seen by TeeJott at a well-known fastfood-resaturant at the Rudolfplatz in Cologne which shows, again, that public places sometimes are one of the best way to find new model-talents.

Bei diesem Shooting mit seiner neuen Model-Entdeckung Tony S. zeigt TeeJott einmal mehr seine Vorliebe für Sonnenbrillen… und die unterschiedlichen Variationen passen sehr gut zu Tony, der ein richtig gutes Sonnenbrillen-Gesicht hat. Tony wurde von TeeJott in einem bekannten Fastfood-Restaurant am Rudolfplatz in Köln entdeckt, was einmal mehr zeigt, dass öffentliche Plätze zu den besten Orten gehören, um neue Model-Talente zu entdecken.

Normally this won’t work: A young man applies to be a model for TeeJott via the Internet, and only some pictures on the profile of a social network give a little impression of how the applicant might look like. Well, even when TeeJott does give it a try from time to time and arranges a casting & info meeting at his favourite STARBUCKS Cafe in Cologne, it nearly every time turns out that the web-pics of the person do not even have a faint resemblence to the look of the applicant. So, when Dean did ask TeeJott, if he might consider to take him as a model, TeeJott was very sceptic, though after a look at the online-pics he thought it might still be good idea to have a meeting with Dean. Guess what: TeeJott was stunned. Dean in „real life“ was looking much better than on his pics (which were not that bad anyway) and the experienced male-model-specialist knew immediately that he ha a great model-talent in front of him. By the way: On his way to Cologne Dean did loose one of his weels! But TeeJott stayed cool, as always, and after the reserve-weel was on again they both had their meeting. So the lost weel might have been a good omen, because in the end TeeJott decided to shoot Dean right away… although it was evening already, and that is why you see the sunset on the outdoor-pics, later they both went to the Studio, the shooting lasted until very late in the night, and it was worth it. TeeJott will work intensely with Dean C. in the following months…

Das Besondere an dem Weg auf dem TeeJott’s neues Model Dean in die Riege der Models des Kölner Fotokünstlers und Male-Model-Spezialisten aufgenommen wurde ist, dass es über das Internet war. Das klapp normalerweise eigentlich nicht, da die Model-Bewerbungen über das Internet oft nicht halten was sie versprechen; oftmals haben die Bilder des Bewerbers nicht einmal eine entfernte Ähnlichkeit mit der „realen“ Person. Bei den Fotos von Dean, die TeeJott auf dessen Profil in einem Sozialen Netzwerk sehen konnte, war dies jedoch umgekehrt. Auf diesen Fotos wurde das Model-Potential von Dean nicht einmal im Ansatz wiedergegeben. Und so war TeeJott relativ sprachlos, als er Dean vor sich sah und als er ihn dann noch direkt an diesem Tag, der eigentlich nur für das Vorgepräch vorgesehen war, fotografierte, entstanden diese hier dargestellten wirklich großartigen Fotos. Da war es auch am Ende fast schon nicht mehr erwähnenswert, dass Dean einen Reifen verloren hatte, als er mit dem Auto auf dem Weg nach Köln war… der Reifen wurde gewechselt und weiter ging es, weder TeeJott noch Dean ließen sich davon irgendwie aus der Ruhe bringen. Ein starkes Model-Fotografen-Team, von dem man wohl noch so einiges erwarten darf…
